Menu for the week of 13 February 2012
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them. Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of February 13th. As far as desserts go, I made 48 strawberry cupcakes that I will be frosting with buttercream frosting Monday morning and sending half of them off to work with Gregg. I’m also going to make Traditional Sugar Cookies to make a cookie bouquet for a Valentine’s Day gift for Scott’s teacher.

You have a great Valentine’s Day menu… and I’m excited by your heat-free chili, because I too love the flavor but not the act of sweating while eating!
I’m with you! Though, I have to hand Gregg a bottle of extra hot sauce when we sit down at the table to eat – haha.
I just have to tell you that your cute retro pics is what caught my eye on Organizing Junkies site. Now that I’m here, I’m loving it all. Thanks for the great ideas for cooking!
I’m so glad you found me!
Hi Hallee, Love your blog! Please tell me where you bought the beef bacon. I read your blog statements about pork and have decided to not eat it myself, for the health reasons primarily to start.
We used to find beef bacon at the commissary, but the last few trips it hasn’t been at ours (Ft. Knox). I am able to find it at Kroger. Gwaltney is the brand – the package is blue with red letters.
Thanks for the info! Good to know.
