Menu for the week of 26 April 2010.
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of April 26th. As far as desserts go, my niece and sister-in-law will be in town, so I’ll definitely do something chocolate, and preferably flour-free (my sister-in-law suffers from a wheat allergy.) I’ve never done one of those flour-free cakes, but if you have a good recipe, I’d love to try it!
Monday:

Dinner:
It is nasty, rainy, cold, and yucky outside. So, despite the fact that it’s almost May, we’re going to have Heat-Free Chili, Old Fashioned Cornbread, green salad
Tuesday:

Hearty Chicken Stir-Fry, brown rice, fortune cookies
Wednesday:

Thursday:

Delicious Chicken and Brown Rice Casserole, peas and carrots, garden salad, blueberry muffins (I thought I had already posted this recipe! I will correct that this week – recipe to follow)
Friday:

Sunday:

Great looking menu! I’m going to check out your whole wheat recipes as I am using freshly milled flour now, too. :D
