Here’s the menu for my family for the week of September 12th. As far as desserts go, my cookie jar is empty and must be filled! I’ll be making some Traditional Sugar Cookies and decorating them with the boys this week for art for school.

I love this wrap, because using steak as a meat in it gives lunch a little facelift from the normal turkey or tuna. This is a great source of protein, which helps Kaylee get through her day since she eats lunch at 10:30 in the morning. It tastes fantastic, and is packed full of all sorts of good vitamins and minerals.
Pin ItI love fish tacos. I discovered them at the Cheesecake Factory in Boston and haven’t met one I didn’t like yet.
I also love salmon. My parents are from Oregon, and my grandfather loved salmon fishing. I grew up eating salmon fresh off of the grill all summer long.
Pin ItKaylee isn’t a huge fan of sandwiches, so I’m always looking for an alternative to a traditional sandwich for her. She also eats lunch at 10:30, and has to make it the rest of the day to 3:30. The higher the protein lunch, the better sustained she’ll be.Gregg loves high protein lunches, and I’m always on the quest for high protein low carbs for him. This wrap is perfect for both of them.

Here’s the menu for my family for the week of August 22nd. As far as desserts go, I’m going to play around with some cookie recipes getting ready for a week of lunch box recipes as schools around the country are starting and gearing up to start. Scott has also asked me a dozen times in the last few days to make him Delectable Deluxe Brownies.
Pin ItHere’s the menu for my family for the week of August 8th. As far as desserts go, school starts this week, and Kaylee has requested miniature Cars 2 cakelettes for her first day of school lunch. Her little brother is desperate to make some, and I think that she’s accommodating him. So, we’ll be making some mini-cakes out of Yummy Yellow Cake. I’ll probably also make some Doodleroo’s Snickerdoodles as well.
Pin ItSeveral years ago, I found corn on the cob on sale. It was a fantastic sale – enough for me, who wasn’t so much into preserving at the time, buy as much as I could afford. I went home and called my grandma and said, “Now what?”
Pin ItHere’s the menu for my family for the week of August 1st. As far as desserts go, my sister and her kids are in town! I’m so excited. I’m going to fill the cookie jar with some Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon Chip Cookies this morning. I’ve harvested six pumpkins out of my garden, so I’ll be making a Fresh Pumpkin Pie while canning the pumpkin.
Pin ItOne Sunday morning, getting ready for church, about 50 minutes before we had to leave, I realized suddenly that I had to bring breakfast to Sunday School. In a panic, I did a quick scan of my baking cupboard and spotted a can of pumpkin. My mind was whirling — what could I do? Muffins? No time to fill muffin cups. Cake! I could do a coffee cake. So…here it is. Pumpkin coffee cake. The first time I made it, I had it in the oven no less than seven minutes after deciding what to make. Thankfully, it turned out well and I made it, slower and with pictures, the next morning.
