Turkey Sandwich Meat
It is so simple to make your own sandwich meat, and it tastes SO much better than anything you can purchase prepackaged or have sliced at a supermarket deli.
If you’re thinking about investing in a meat slicer, I highly recommend it. You don’t need to get one that’s super fancy with a bunch of moving parts. Ours was about $100 at a kitchen store.
I made a rotisserie turkey breast. I let it cool completely, then used the slicer.
It took just a few minutes to slice the roast.
It made THE BEST turkey sandwiches ever.

Yum, that sandwich looks really good!!! Do you also make your own bread?
Yep! This is the bread in the picture:
Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.
I intended to post the potato chip recipe and the sandwich method, but every time I’ve sat down to do it, I got interrupted and finally tabled it for later.
I’m coming to your house! Nitrate free turkey breast – YUMMMMM!
Looks great! How long does it keep in the fridge? Does it freeze and defrost well? We are only able to find turkey without nitrites or other gunk at Costco.
great tip!!
blessings!

It would keep for 7 days – no longer.
It would freeze and defrost fine! I would use a seal-a-meal so that it would last even longer in the freezer.
