Menu for the week of 12 April 2012
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them. Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of April 12th. This is a quiet week in our household, which is a good thing. We’re gearing up to publish Book 2 of the Jewel Trilogy on the 23rd (NOTE: This is the last week to get Book 1, Sapphire Ice, for just 0$.99!), and I really need an uninterrupted schedule this week. As far as desserts go, I think Gregg and the boys are going to make some Gingerbread Cookies. Kaylee asked if I’d help her make a chocolate mousse pie — that will be a lot of fun!

Great menu! I’m checking out the breakfast smoothie now. (here from MPM)
Yum! We’ve started a weekly taco night too, and my guys LOVE it.
Sounds delish, we JUST tried making regular tortillas for the first time, whole wheat is next. LOVE your salad, we try to add fruits & nuts when possible. :)
I love it that you mill your own flour – my sister does that I just haven’t gotten a chance to purchase a mill yet.
I’m checking out your homemade tortillas for sure.
