Menu “Moon”day 16 Nov 2009 (aka “New Moon” Premier Week)
Menu Moonday 16 Nov 2009
The “rules” of our household diet: About every two to three hours between meals, we eat healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, yogurt, or a smoothie. We avoid any pork and any bottom feeders like catfish and shellfish. We avoid artificial sweeteners and unhealthy toxins such as those in preservatives.
One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
If I have any leftovers, I usually serve them for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends.
Almost all of the breads are homemade – I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them.
Here’s the menu for this week for my family. As far as desserts go, it’s New Moon premier week, so we’re going to be playing with some ideas and some fun party snacks and such. Werewolf kibble, chocolate hearts with stakes, red velvet cupcakes, etc.
werewolf waffles, barking beef bacon
hemorrhage hash, eggs
Bloodsucker meatloaf, rice, Edward’s “black eyes” peas, salad
Peanut Butter Plasma smoothie, Volturi marrow muffins
Jacob’s Howling Good Turkey Burgers, sweet potato fries, blood-red strawberry salad
corpse cold cereal
Esme’ Cullen’s “Vegetarian” Bone-In Vegetable Soup, bread, salad
Golden eyes pancakes, blood oranges
Thunder and Lightning Baseball Franks, Bella’s homemade whole wheat buns, Twilight apple salad
