Delightful Spinach & Dill Eggs
Delightful Spinach and Dill Eggs
The Havarti cheese in this recipe is the perfect addition to this satisfying and nutrient-packed dish.
2 eggs
1 TBS water
⅓ cup baby spinach, washed
2 TBS Havarti cheese with dill
salt and pepper to taste
butter for pan
skillet
bowl and fork
measuring cups/spoons
Tear or chop the spinach.
Grate the cheese.
Using the fork, beat the eggs with the water until well beaten.
Heat the skillet over medium heat. Add the butter. When the butter is melted, spread it around the pan.
Add the eggs. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Sprinkle with spinach.
When the eggs are set on the bottom, gently scrape them around the pan, “scrambling” them as you go. As soon as the eggs are cooked through, remove them from the pan. (Do not leave them in the pan removed from the heat – the residual heat in the pan will dry the eggs out.)
Serve.

This is great! Such a good idea to use havarti with dill and spinach.
Followed your link from this weeks menu plan. These sound/look so very good! Hoping I can find some havarti with dill in my {very} rural area!
