So, I went to bed Tuesday night praying that things would work out. I didn’t hear from Gregg Wednesday morning, and briefly wondered if he was working or on a plane. Wednesday afternoon, he instant messaged me from the Dubai airport! AND, he would be home on Thursday! TWO full days earlier than originally scheduled.
Far from being indisputable, both the validity and the relevance of Java Man remains in serious and continuous dispute and, like Nebraska man, shares a heritage rich in fraud.
Pin ItWhile I feel strong feelings of love and devotion to my husband, to whom I am certainly emotionally attached, I am not an overly affectionate person. I think there was a time when I once was, when I was younger, but circumstances and situations can strip tendencies away. Over time, I’ve become very stoic about most things. I am not overly emotional ever, I don’t react emotionally, and I’m not really a reach out and hug kind of person.

As a writer affiliated with writerly things, I’ve never been a big fan of self-published works. There’s often something to be said for a professional editing job.
This chapter was by far the longest chapter in the book, and it was so clear that I had a, “Duh!” moment reading it. Early in the chapter, Stormie says, “When you pray for your husband, especially in the hopes of changing him, you can surely expect some changes. But the first changes won’t be in him. They’ll be in you…God sees things we don’t. He knows where we have room for improvement. He doesn’t have to search long to uncover attitudes and habits that are outside His perfect will for us.”
