This recipe was wonderful. I served it with Moroccan Saffron Rice with Dried Fruits and Nuts.

I modified this recipe to be able to make it with what I had on hand. For instance, the original recipe called for fresh saffron and white rice; however, I don’t keep fresh saffron in my cupboard, but I had a package of saffron rice. I am posting the recipe as I made it, so that I can be confident that you’re getting a good recipe that I’ve tried out.
Pin ItI have TONS of blueberries that I froze this summer. I’ve been scouring all of my resources finding the best blueberry recipes. This one is definitely a winner.
Pin ItIt took me a few years and several brands of cornmeal and many recipes to finally find one that everyone in my family loved. Now I have friends who ask for “Hallee’s cornbread” and friends who come for dinner whose children want to know if they’re having “Hallee’s Special Cornbread!”.
Pin ItI make a heat-free chili that my children LOVE. They enjoy all of the flavors of chili, but have never enjoyed the heat.
Pin ItThis is a great smoothie for breakfast – and sometimes dinner! You can substitute the orange juice with any mix of juices or even an even split of whole milk and plain yogurt if you are not on a fast. The milk/yogurt mixture adds more of a milk shake quality than the juice does.
Pin ItA favorite to any pot luck. I don’t think a church dinner would be complete without chilled green bean and red potato salad.
