Menu Monday 09 Nov 2009
The “rules” of our household diet: About every two to three hours between meals, we eat healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, yogurt, or a smoothie. We avoid any pork and any bottom feeders like catfish and shellfish. We avoid artificial sweeteners and unhealthy toxins such as those in preservatives.
One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
If I have any leftovers, I usually serve them for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends.
Almost all of the breads are homemade – I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them.
Here’s the menu plan for my family for the week of Monday, 9 November 2009. As far as desserts go, I’m going to make a German chocolate cake to post for you how to do a neat turkey cake for Thanksgiving, and I’m going to do a simple batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Love me some egg in a hole! lol. It’s my favorite thing to eat for breakfast.
It’s like the perfect food. LOL I was a little girl and watched someone on some PBS show make it and started making it for myself for breakfast. I was probably 9 or 10.
Hey Hallee! Great plan this week. Would love to have you join in next week too. Would you be so kind as to link back to Chivetalkin when you link up with your menu plan. That way, all your readers will find their way to even more menu plans. Thanks so much!
