Lick-the-Bowl-Good Cream Cheese Frosting
Lick-the-Bowl-Good Cream Cheese Frosting
I’m a big fan of simple is better. Since Gregg’s favorite cake is red velvet cake, I’ve tried many cream cheese frosting recipes seeking the best one. This recipe, with its four simple ingredients, is the best I’ve ever found. It’s light, creamy, and beyond delicious.
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese
½ cup unsalted butter
3¾ cups powdered sugar (1 pound)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
measuring cups/spoons
mixer
bowl
Soften cream cheese and butter.
Place cream cheese and butter in the bowl. Beat on high until creamy and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar and the vanilla. Mix on low until the sugar is incorporated, then mix on high until creamy.
