Month: November 2010
I was very curious about the way Stormie Omartian addressed this chapter. She basically said that if you (the wife) keep your husband a priority, then it will help him keep his priorities straight. Then she spent the chapter explaining how to keep your husband a priority.
Pin ItAs much as we try, it’s not always possible to completely avoid the cold or flu some seasons. This broth will provide you with some herbal comfort when you’re ill. It’s flavorful, warming, and packed with vitamins that will help your body battle whatever bug has bitten you.
Pin ItI just flew from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a stop in Paris, France, then returned home on a flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and finally back to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a stop in Amsterdam, Netherlands and another stop in Detroit, Michigan. Twenty-eight total hours flying, about fifteen hours sitting in airports, and crossing the paths of hundreds of people. It occurred to me after this trip, as I was driving home finally, that I am not a people person.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of November 8th. As far as desserts go, I am going to begin baking for my husband’s birthday and Christmas baking, so I have some red velvet cookies to make. I also think that I’m going to make some apple turnovers or something similar to post a recipe for your holiday baking planning.
Pin ItI love smoothies. Almost every smoothie I make is yogurt-based. I enjoy that this one is a vegan recipe, so I can drink it when I’m doing a Daniel Fast or when I’m just not in the mood for dairy.
