I love smoothies. Almost every smoothie I make is yogurt-based. I enjoy that this one is a vegan recipe, so I can drink it when I’m doing a Daniel Fast or when I’m just not in the mood for dairy.
1 cup cold water
1 carrot, scrubbed clean and cut into large pieces
1 stalk celery, cut into large pieces
½ apple wash and leave skin on
1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
Fresh Mint Leaves (optional)
Scrub the carrot clean and chop it into chunks.
Slice the apple. Remove the core, but leave the skin on.
In a high-powered blender blend all ingredients until smooth.

High in iron
Very high in manganese
High in magnesium
High in potassium
High in selenium
Very high in vitamin A
High in vitamin B6
