Last Week to Get Topaz Heat for Just $0.99!

This is the last week you will be able to get Topaz Heat for just $0.99! On Monday, June 18th, the price will go up to $3.99

Here are a few of the reviews Topaz Heat has received:

“WOW!!!

As the last book in this series.. I was amazed to say the least..I loved reading all these, but I think the last may have been the best! I loved the simple truths that are so well written within these books. The old saying I have heard all my life came to mind while reading .. you can’t judge a book by the cover.. of course I am not talking a out the cover of this book, as Christians sometimes we only see what others look like on the outside.. we forget that though they may seem very much the same.. that God can change that person completely without you looking close enough you may overlook the true transformation of the heart while focused on the outside of the person.. Again, cannot say enough good things about this series.. I hope to find (if there are any more) and read ALL this author has to offer. I have found another favorite author!”

Christian Fiction Book Review

As we come to the end of three weeks on sale, I’m beginning to think that me, this unknown and unrepresented author, may actually be able to do this thing with these books.

30 Days of Bloggity Bloggness: Day 7

Day 7: Your Favorite Movie

It is impossible for me to answer this question with just one movie. I’ve never been able to pinpoint “just one”. I love movies. I love really good movies with really clever dialogue and really great actors. I love fun action movies. I love thrillers that make you think. I love sagas. I love war movies.

So, here are a few that immediately came to mind and started warring with me as “favorite”: (and quite honestly, I’m curious about what might be revealed about my personality with this list – ha!)

Courageous

Here’s my recommendation to my (mostly) female readers: take your husband to see this movie. Arrange child care, tell him he has a hot date tonight, and go see this movie. Then have him take some friends, and have him take his teenaged sons or his brother or his father. The men in America need to see this movie and they need to rise up to the challenges presented within it.

Arachnophobia

I haven’t always been afraid of spiders. My mother is and always has been, but they never really scared me. At least, until my senior year of high school, when my friend, Robbie, took me to see the movie Arachnophobia. That movie scared me.

Seeds of Faith: The Media

This chapter thoroughly touches on all areas of media, from magazine articles to lyrics in music, to television shows and commercials, and how these areas in our lives continually and constantly sexually objectify women. You can’t watch a college football game without a scantily clad model touting a beer brand. You can’t watch a crime show on television without a scene in a bar with naked pole dancers kissing each other.

I will Sing a New Song to You, O God

When I’m in my kitchen, I usually have a radio station playing that has a daily lineup of preachers and teachers — David Jeremiah, Alistair Begg, Focus on the Family, some local churches — I enjoy listening to the sermons and conversations. When I’m not listening to that, I’ll have the radio on K-Love, which plays contemporary Christian music. I enjoy many of the songs and love the message in most of the songs.
