Several years ago, I found corn on the cob on sale. It was a fantastic sale – enough for me, who wasn’t so much into preserving at the time, buy as much as I could afford. I went home and called my grandma and said, “Now what?”

I no longer have a smaller garden, a corn garden, and a main garden – everything has been merged into one big “L” shaped garden.

I know I didn’t post a garden post last week. To be honest, the garden frustrated me a little bit last week, and I just had to take a step back from it. We’d had so much rain – record breaking rainfall. Then the temperature dropped. Then it warmed up and we had even more rain.

I saw someone reference a sweet potato hash somewhere a few months ago, and I thought that sounded really good, so I came up with a recipe. This was so good – it was hearty enough to be the main dish of a meal.
