This is so rich and chocolatey that you’ll be lucky to get it onto the cake before you eat it all.
Pin ItI am complimented constantly on my frosting. I use it on cakes and cookies regularly. If you don’t have a stand mixer, it takes a little bit of time and work, but it is SO worth it.
Pin ItI had some friends over for dinner last night. I’m not as good at entertaining people as my husband is. I’m much better at cooking and serving a meal while I listen to him entertaining and interacting with people (heh). But cooking for people is what I love to do, and even though he’s gone, he encourages me to still have people over.
Pin ItThis recipe intrigued me. I don’t normally use box cake mixes, but having a cheesecake with a box mix as a base really made me want to try to see how it turned out. It was very good!
Pin ItI have TONS of blueberries that I froze this summer. I’ve been scouring all of my resources finding the best blueberry recipes. This one is definitely a winner.
Pin ItMy kids LOVE star fruit. I’m usually able to find it during Christmastime and try to include one in their stockings every year. We use it as an opportunity to talk about the Star of Bethlehem.
Pin ItIn an effort to economize, when creating a recipe for Gingerbread Cookies that would certainly need Royal Icing, I decided to experiment with the eggs in use. Splitting the egg yolks into the gingerbread and saving the whites for the icing worked out perfectly.
Pin ItMy children love this moist, chocolaty cake. It is especially good when topped with butter cream frosting and Winnie the Pooh sprinkles.
