So Much For Which to Be Thankful
Laura at Heavenly Homemakers has offered us the opportunity to share what we’re thankful for in the last year. It’s supposed to be “Grati-TUESDAY” and today is Wednesday, but I was traveling yesterday and hadn’t written this ahead of time.

During this Christmas season, as we celebrate the greatest gift of Love this world has ever seen, take a moment in the busy hustle and bustle and give your husband or wife an extra word or two of adoration, admiration, love, or respect.

Today is for love and friendship and family and good food and realizing everything for which we have to be Thankful. It is also about thanking the right Person.
Surviving Separation: Your Voice
It’s awesome. If I’m thinking about something and I’m driving, I can just give him a quick call and have a one-sided conversation. The kids call and tell him goodnight or good morning. If I want to just have some connection with him, I call and listen to his voice on the message then leave him a message.

Gems
One of the first things she asked me was what I was doing. I told her I was a homemaker in a small town in Kentucky, married to the most amazing man in the world and mother to three absolutely wonderful children. Her reaction puzzled me and hurt me at the same time.
My Awesome Husband’s Love Language ♥
In it we learned, among many other things, that Gregg’s love language is giving gifts. Lucky me, you might be thinking. :) However, my love language is not receiving gifts, so he’s still forced to step outside of his comfort zone. But that doesn’t stop him from raining the love down on me in his way.
