I’m going through the manuscript with a fine-toothed comb and Gregg is learning everything he can learn about e-publishing and self-publishing. It’s all coming together!
So, mark your calendars. We’re going to discount the first 1,000 copies.
Pin ItI remember my mom making this whenever we had company for dinner. This is the perfect “company’s coming” type of dish. It has your meat, starch, and vegetables all rolled into one casserole dish. It’s hearty, delicious, and different from the standard lasagna or baked chicken that are easy fall backs for entertaining. You can prepare it, put it in the oven, and get your kitchen cleaned up in time for company to arrive. Serve it with a tossed salad and a fresh baked loaf of French Bread, and you have the perfect meal.
Pin ItI recently saw a blogger comment that her cleaning lady used vinegar to clean her floors, but it made her house smell like a pickle factory.
Pin ItCan you believe that it’s gardening time again? This winter went by SO FAST.
That may have a lot to do with the fact that we didn’t have much of a winter in Kentucky. Our heaviest snow came on March 3rd, and the day after that it was 80 degrees outside.
Consequently, I was able to till the section of garden I planted — barefoot! I love tilling dirt barefoot. There are few things as energizing as the feel of fresh-tilled dirt on bare feet.
