Menu for the week of 13 August 2012
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them. Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of August 13th. This will be Kaylee’s first full week back to school (she started last Thursday) and the boys both start on Wednesday. We are also full swing into volleyball season, with two away games this week. As far as desserts go, we found some brown rice Rice Krispies, so we’re going to make some Rice Krispies treats using those!

Looks yummy – here’s to a great school year! We start back today (teachers) and kids follow next week.
I’m stopping by for a visit from Organizing Junkie today.
The kids will be back to school in August, in my area. When you don’t have a child attending school anymore it’s easy to forget when they’ll be returning.
It’s another 107 degree day in Las Vegas. Man! Am I looking forward to cooler temps. Unfortunately, we don’t usually start cooling down till late September or October.
Your menu for the week sounds delicious!
This is why I love living in Kentucky: It started cooling down this week. Right on schedule for the approach of autumn. I love having four seasons!
I hope it cools down for you soon! Thank you so much for coming by!
