Homemade Frozen Fruit Pops

We’ve had several days recently where the temperature has climbed toward 110°.  As such, I wanted to find a way to cool the kids off.

It was easy.  The only thing was that my containers were too big.  I think the larger-sized bathroom cups would work best.

I didn’t have popsicle sticks, so I just used disposable plastic spoons.  They worked just fine.

Pick whatever fruit you want, that you think will go well together.  I made strawberry kiwi:

And raspberry nectarine:

Blend them well (I have read some recipes that add a sweetener, but I have not found that to be necessary):

Pour into the molds:

Place in freezer.  In a couple of hours, add a stick or a spoon or whatever you want to use as a handle for the popsicle.  Freeze for another 10 hours or so:
