Homemade Frozen Fruit Pops
We’ve had several days recently where the temperature has climbed toward 110°. As such, I wanted to find a way to cool the kids off.
It was easy. The only thing was that my containers were too big. I think the larger-sized bathroom cups would work best.
I didn’t have popsicle sticks, so I just used disposable plastic spoons. They worked just fine.
Pick whatever fruit you want, that you think will go well together. I made strawberry kiwi:
And raspberry nectarine:
Blend them well (I have read some recipes that add a sweetener, but I have not found that to be necessary):
Pour into the molds:
Place in freezer. In a couple of hours, add a stick or a spoon or whatever you want to use as a handle for the popsicle. Freeze for another 10 hours or so:
