Menu Monday 22 NOV 10 – Thanksgiving Week!

Menu Monday

Menu for the week of November 22, 2010.

The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.

I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.

Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour.I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them.  Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.

Here’s the menu for my family for the week of November 22nd. As far as desserts go, we are traveling this week, so I will be washing the cookie jar in that last load of dishes and putting the cake plate away.  We’ll come back next week with 4 weeks of Christmas Baking – so don’t miss that!

Monday:

Breakfast:

scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast

Dinner:

steak, Superlative Sour Cream Potatoes, green beans,  Whole Wheat Pull Apart Yeast Rolls

Tuesday:

Breakfast:

Dinner:

Hallee’s White Chili (made with leftover turkey), Old Fashioned Cornbread, garden salad

We will be traveling for the remainder of the week, enjoying Thanksgiving with family.  But, if you’re looking for a Thanksgiving menu, here is a link to my Thanksgiving Extravaganza.  It has everything from table decoration ideas to how to cook the perfect turkey, and everything in between.  Each menu item has a link to the recipe.

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving.  God bless you as we begin the holiday season.

Hallee
