Creation: Darwinian Evolutionary Frauds Pt. VII

Finally, in 1953 and after nearly 40 years, Joseph Weiner and Kenneth Oakley applied the recently developed fluorine test to the bones—and found that Piltdown Man was a complete hoax. Someone had intentionally taken an ape jaw and combined it with a fragment of human skull bone, filed the teeth somewhat, and then carefully stained the entire “specimen” so that the bones looked both ancient and appeared to be a matching set.

Pasta for Your Girls and Mine

In order for these thousands of walkers to make it from opening ceremonies through three days of walking to closing ceremonies, they need a little help. That’s where the volunteer crew comes in. As in, it is positively bad that man is alone, so I will make for him a helper.

Menu Monday 09 Aug 2010

We are still out of town, still in a hotel with a 2-burner stove, a microwave, 1 large pot, and 1 large frying pan. We do have access to a grill, so we’ve been trying to use that to cook the meat as much as possible. Breakfasts are provided by the hotel.

Here’s the menu for my family for the week of August 9th. As far as desserts go, we have store-bought ice cream and Fresh Bakery bakery pound cake.
