Captain Crunch Candy
This is a traditional Christmas candy in my family. We look forward to it every Christmas and can barely wait for it to set before we start eating it.
1 pound almond bark
2 cups Captain Crunch cereal
2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 can mixed nuts
Pan/pot/bowl in which to melt the almond bark.
Large bowl
Large spoon
Small spoon
Waxed paper
Lay out the waxed paper. You’re going to need at least 2 strips about 4 feet long.
Melt the almond bark. My mom uses a large metal bowl that she places in a 175° degrees F oven then pours the other ingredients into it. I use a large stock pot and place it on top of the stove and melt it over medium-low heat.
Once it’s melted, pour the other ingredients into it, or pour it into the other ingredients depending on how you melted it.
Move quickly. Mix it well, then drop it by rounded spoonfuls on to the waxed paper. It sets FAST. By the time you’re done forming the candies, the first in the line will have already set.
At least 30 candies, depending on the size.

My mom puts in Christmas colored imperials in it, too, to give it a dash of Christmas color.
I would love to hear any feedback about this recipe. Did you make it? Did you enjoy it? Did you make any adjustments to it?
