Why is natural selection taught as ‘evolution’ as if it explains the origin of the diversity of life?

You Can’t Do Everything

Posted by Hallee on Jan 24, 2012 in Blog Stuff, Housekeeping, Life

I’d been tossing around the idea of quitting blogging for about three months now. I really started thinking about it as soon as it dawned on me just how much less free time I have during the day when I no longer conducted my marriage via long distance means. Since I feel very strongly that the Holy Spirit is who led me to starting the blog, I started praying about it.

Question #1. How did life — with specifications for hundreds of proteins — originate just by random interactions of chemicals without intelligent design?

Hug Me! I’m Organic!

Posted by Hallee on Aug 3, 2010 in Blog Stuff

In other words, it may pay in health benefits to buy Organic peaches, but you get almost no benefit from paying extra for Organic bananas. And, seriously, what kind of “health” benefit are you reaping by eating cotton candy, whether it’s made from Organic processed sugar or non-Organic processed sugar?

Creation: Abiogenesis Part VI

Posted by Gregg on Apr 18, 2010 in apologetics, Creation, homeschooling

If it is as simple as just having the right conditions, it is reasonable to think that life should have “evolved” according to Darwinian principles many, many times before the advent of photosynthesis produced an oxygen concentration which made conditions unfavorable. Yet all life rides upon the same bio-molecules, metabolic pathways, and genetic information which refutes this notion.

Clean Sweep

Posted by Hallee on Mar 23, 2010 in Housekeeping, Life

Spring cleaning made a lot of sense for centuries. When homes were heated with wood or coal, the winter heating season brought a build-up of soot and ash on walls, furniture, and fabrics. Spring cleaning marked the end of the heating season, when the entire house was aired and scrubbed clean, when windows could be opened and the winds of spring would blow through the house, refreshing it.

Creation: Abiogenesis Part III

Posted by Gregg on Mar 14, 2010 in Blog Stuff

I explained the Darwinist belief in spontaneous generation packaged for textbooks as abiogenesis, and recently re-packaged and re-branded and re-labeled to be called biopoiesis, until a new and improved authoritatively scientific sounding word replaces that one. It means, in a nutshell, that Darwinists preach about life coming from non-life.

Creation: Good Old Young Universe Part I

Posted by Gregg on Jan 3, 2010 in apologetics, Christian Faith, Creation, homeschooling

Vast amounts of time don’t prove Darwinism. However, the converse does not follow. Short amounts of time, young ages, directly refute Darwinism. This is why Darwinists have worked so hard over the last half century to make anyone who believes earth and the universe to be, in fact, rather young look like a quack, a nut, or someone with an agenda.

Creation: Stellar Evolution Part I

Posted by Gregg on Nov 29, 2009 in apologetics, Christian Faith, Creation, homeschooling

Steller evolution is the theory of the origin of stars, or how stars are born. The theories of stellar evolution can be largely separated into two categories. There are theories that fall into how stars “evolved” as part of the aftermath of the Cosmic Evolution brought about by the Big Bang, and there are other theories about how stars are “evolving” even today.
