Everyday, I do a 4-mile aerobic walk.  It takes me one hour.  I listen to my Word of Promise Bible while I walk.

Today, I listened to Micah 3:1 through Haggai 2.

The part that stands out to me from this morning is:

The prince asks for gifts,
The judge seeks a bribe,
And the great man utters his evil desire;
So they scheme together.
The best of them is like a brier;
The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge;
The day of your watchman and your punishment comes;
Now shall be their perplexity. Micah 7:3-4

What made what that passage stand out to me is that there truly is nothing new under the sun.  No matter what our society and political climate are like today, it’s not new to God or humanity.
