I made this cake for Gregg’s birthday this year. I’d made his traditional Red Velvet Cake in the form of a cake roll for him to take to work with him that day, so I thought I’d change things up a bit. This was an amazing flavor – it tasted just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but in the form of a cake! I did not not take pictures of the process, but it’s very simple.

Pin ItI thought chapter 6 of Nancy Leigh DeMoss’ Lies Women Believe: And the Truth that Sets them Free, just kind of brushed on the issues about marriage and the lies that can trap and hurt women. It seemed to just skim the surface. I don’t know if the author was trying to stay non-controversial or if she just didn’t want to get bogged down in details that could each one make up their own book.
