Ya I saw the price of that, wow! I was wondering if you were going to get that or just the regular pack like I am getting. I am excited about this, excited to be taking this step. I really need this. I have a hard time sometimes in my marriage, considering he is very sick..sometimes i feel like I am a caretaker more than a wife. So this is coming at the perfect time.

For those who are interested, I just ordered a paperback copy of the book and the prayer and study guide for $18 and some change at Barnes & Noble (they are both at the “member price” for everyone). B&N also has free shipping on anything over $25 so I bought the kids some bargain books to make up the difference.

I am very excited to have you! As far as the study guide, I don’t know the answer to that yet. I ordered the study guide when I ordered the leader guide. I should be getting it very soon – tomorrow or the next day. As soon as I look through it, I’ll let you know.

I hope you don’t mind me butting in, but I’ve done this study before on my own and through bible study and yes the Study Guide really is a must, it just adds so much to the study and you will not regret getting the study guide and will truly miss out if you don’t get it! (to the person who asked!!)

Mine should be here tomorrow (crossing fingers). I am excited. I am glad I got the study guide tho. As much as I am on the computer, I am a old school kinda girl. I like physical tangible stuff. Plus I can do it at work. I don’t get to talk to people at work, so that’s when I do alot of my “talking” to God. It will be good :) But seriously I can’t wait. I am looking forward to something to help me get closer to God. I feel like I am drifting away and desperately need to come back.

I got my book and study guide yesterday! I am so excited to be starting this, I hope I can keep up! I need more Christian influences and Christ devotion in my life, and in my family’s life. I feel we are being pulled further into the sins and ugliness of society, and I am having a hard time fighting the battle when it comes to explaining things to the kids. They are learning things from school and other kids, I never would’ve wanted them exposed to!
I need more peace and Christian commitment within myself, so I can teach my children to be tolerant Christians and know how to avoid those ugly influences.

I cannot tell you how long I have had The Power of the Praying Wife book and study guide and have not even completed it…how sad is that??? I believe I have done a couple of chapters but will be doing them again with you!! I cannot wait for this study to begin!

Hello, I come over from Laura’s (Heavenly Homemakers) blog to check out this bible study. I’ve had this book for some time, and read it once, but it will be great to work through it with other Christian women. I’d better go find it and start reading!
I have always been interested in reading this book and am happy to experience it with other women. Perfect timing as I am going to my Church’s Women’s retreat this weekend and the theme is Prayer….God is good!

I just ordered my study guide today and I have reserved the book from my library! I’m excited to join this bible study. I’ve been looking for one lately and you just fell into my lap.
Very excited about this! I brought this book a little over a year ago but allowed life to get in the way and never finished. I feel that I will gain even more from it this time around by it being read as a group. Can’t wait!

I would love to join this study group. I only have access to the web when I am at work. I am in a hard financial bind at the moment so internet will be off for a while. I dont have a book or study guide either. I really wanna join and learn more about praying for my husband we are going thru a whole lot of chaisos and financial burdens and everything. I dont know when I will be able to even get a chance to purchase the book but If I can get pretty good notes and scriptures to carry me thru until I can get one will that help me? I really wanna have the book so I can read when I am home and to study a whole lot. Any help?
