it sounds interesting…but chances are we will wait for the dvd.
Toy Story 3 is the one my husband wants to take our 3 yr old too. My mom just got him 1&2 for Easter. So if he likes those I’m sure we will be at the theater…well daddy or I and Avery in hopes it goes better than Madgascar 2 did!
We haven’t seen it and like Heather, will probably wait for the DVD to come out… I’m not good in 3d theatres and my daughter is pretty much past the animated movies phase… Liam on the other hand isn’t ready for the whole 2 hrs at the theatre experience… the reviews do make it sound good though!
I am definitely going to take Mia to see it. We saw Princess & The frog for her first movie, and I have to say: I think she will enjoy a dragon movie more. She’s not TOO much into princesses—she loves adventure!
I’m not sure I’ll take her to a 3D version though. I am sure it will be cool but I’m not sure how she’ll like keeping the glasses on.
This movie looks awesome. I wonder if it is possible to see it in a theatre, but not in 3-D? Ben complains that 3-D hurts his eyes, so I am never comfortable subjecting him to a 3-D movie.
If not, I know this will be a DVD on the top of our Netflix list! I like kid-movies that adults enjoy!!
We’ve been on a bad run with movies rated PG not being appropriate for our daughter (age 5). She bit me after watching half of Where the Wild Things Are – we turned it off because my husband and I felt it was making us dumber watching it. I also didn’t think UP was appropriate for a small child. I think we rely heavily on the fact that we think they don’t understand a lot of the stuff they put in for grown-ups. I won’t watch another PG movie with her unless I see it first.
We had a bad run, too — that’s why we never go without seeing the review at Plugged In Online. It breaks the whole movie down very clinically, then gives a less-clinical overview. We love it. http://www.halleethehomemaker.com/2009/11/plugged-in/
Awesome! This movie looked really cute in the previews. I don’t have any kids… but will definitely go see this one!

Awesome! I already planned to take Jon this weekend – glad to read yet another glowing review!
I don’t think I’ll take the boys to see it in 3-D, either. I just think that would be too much sensory input, even if they did keep the glasses on.
