Creation: Question Evolution Campaign — 3 of 15

Posted by Gregg on Jan 22, 2012 in apologetics, Christian Faith, Creation, homeschooling

How could mutations—accidental copying mistakes (DNA ‘letters’ exchanged, deleted or added, genes duplicated, chromosome inversions, etc.)—create the huge volumes of information in the DNA of living things? How could such errors create 3 billion letters of DNA information to change a microbe into a microbiologist?

Creation: Question Evolution Campaign — 2 of 15

If a non-material apparatus was absolutely required to hold the theory together, such an apparatus would lay the entire Darwinist religion to waste. Guess what?

Pilgrims, Persecution, the Bible, and Thanksgiving

Posted by Hallee on Nov 23, 2011 in homeschooling, Life

If you don’t know the actual history behind the pilgrims and Thanksgiving, I found this chart here. I copied it verbatim and added nothing to it, nor took anything away from it. It is WONDERFUL and is full of other links.

Dear Hallee: “Help!”

Posted by Hallee on Sep 30, 2011 in homeschooling, Housekeeping, Life, Marriage, Parenting

I’m embarrassed to say how long ago I received the following letter – several weeks at least. I read it, and started mulling over it and just never got back to it. It took me a while to decide how to respond, and then it took me a while to decide to respond here. The subject line in the email was “Help!”

Decisions

Posted by Hallee on Sep 19, 2011 in homeschooling, Life, Parenting

He went home that night pondering the school and started praying about it. He felt very very pressed that we should put the boys there instead of homeschooling them. The more he prayed about it, the more he felt like that was the right decision.

Creation: Question Evolution Campaign — 1 of 15

Posted by Gregg on Sep 18, 2011 in apologetics, Christian Faith, Creation, homeschooling

How did life — with hundreds of proteins and strictly by chemistry without any intelligent design or intelligent agent — originate? While this is a question that Darwinists cannot answer, it is a question for which believers in the Biblical account of creation can very easily answer.

Finally Worked it All Out

Posted by Hallee on Aug 23, 2011 in Blog Stuff, homeschooling, Housekeeping, Life, Marriage, Parenting

I’m a busy person. I tend to have several irons in the fire simultaneously. I’m great at multitasking and quite capable of juggling. However, I realize that if I want to homeschool the boys, I need to be able to stop everything around me, end the outside distractions, and just teach. This is my trial year. Scott just turned 5 and we are “Redshirting” him – so we’re going to work with a 4K program. If I can do it full time this year, then we know we’ll be able to continue doing it. If not, then we need look at our other options.

To do something different, in yesterday’s Monday Morning Survey, I asked readers to ask me questions. So here they are. No question went unanswered except one – and it will be its own blog post tomorrow morning.
