Mutation is the current placeholder in the current secular humanist world view until a better naturalistic, materialistic explanation can be hypothesized. For now, it is the best they have, and it is extremely weak.

I observe just how pervasive Darwinism has become in the Christian culture. So many Christian blogs host MEMES without even knowing the origin of the word or understanding the concept MEMEs represent, a concept that advocates materialism in opposition to the Biblical God.

One may think that a worldview can be intellectually set aside so that objective thought, analysis, and experimentation can occur, thus yielding valid, cogent, sound conclusions via the scientific process. Sadly, this is not the case. Darwinism corrupts the scientific process and inhibits logical thought.
