This Room is All Girl
Like I said in my post on Tuesday, my dad was in town last weekend and helped me get twin beds in the boys’ room and a bigger bed put into Kaylee’s room.
I don’t have any good “before” pictures of the room.
But I have some awesome “after” pictures. We want to change the wallpaper and are currently looking for what will work.
My daughter is the quintessential teenage girl in a lot of ways.
But in some ways, she’s is extraordinary.
The poster above the bed is something I picked up for her on a whim – when I saw it in the store, it screamed “Kaylee” at me:
My daughter’s room makes me very happy.
I’m also glad that she has a bed that fits her now – her feet had started to hang over the end of the twin bed. I’m 5’11” – I imagine she’ll reach me soon.

Her room looks great! I had the same problem with my daughter but not the feet hanging off the bed….. she would fall off the bed every night, so I got her a queen bed so now she wont fall off the bed.
Love her room! I guess this is what I have to look forward to. Right now my baby girl is sharing a room with her brother, but I have some furniture for her in storage, but no bed. Kaylee’s bed would be a spot on match to what I already have. Did you buy it recently? If you don’t mind..where?
Thanks,
Amanda
I did! I bought it at Big Lots this past fall.
i love her room! It reminds me of mine when i was growing up. Minus the pink though. I had books and music and posters.. imagine i am 32 now and my posters are now hanging in the garage, I can’t make myself throw them away
Looks great, Hallee! I love that it’s girlie and youthful and filled with all the things your daughter loves at this moment in her life. Great tackle! Visiting from 5MfM…thanks for sharing. Happy Tuesday!
