‘Cause They’re Whose Clues? Blue’s Clues!
Kaylee’s love language, as far as I can tell, is a good mix of touch and receiving gifts. The more I hug her, the more she blossoms. Receiving gifts makes her glow.
She babysat for me a few weeks ago on a day she just didn’t feel like babysitting. I had to go to an office supply store while I was out, and I saw this pad of sticky notes. Kaylee’s favorite color is orange. I couldn’t help but buy them. The next morning, this was on my bedroom mirror.
Last week, I came home from working at the soup kitchen and found my picnic basket on the living room coffee table with this attached to it.
On the couch was this.
Come to find out, for the morning they played Blues Clues to solve the question, “What does Kaylee want to do for lunch?” The answer: “Have a picnic.”
After they solved the puzzle, Kaylee made a picnic lunch for them.
I love my kids. I love knowing that my kids are having the time of their lives, allowing me the opportunity to serve God in my way without too much worry or stress at leaving them.
(We won’t talk about the face drawn in marker by a little almost 4-year-old hand on Scott’s dresser drawer in order to create “Side Table Drawer”.)

I LOVE this! And since I can identify with the side table drawer art…I even love that, because I can see it happening in my own house too. (So we’ll sit down in our thinking chair and think, think, think. ;) )

So sweet!
LOVE this!
Yesterday I was able to witness my 18yo teaching his 6yo brother how to tie his work boots. His sincerity and patience overwhelmed me almost to tears because he is usually the one who is irritated by his much younger siblings. God is good. ALL THE TIME!
Oh, this is so precious!!! When our 18yo baby-sits and we come home to all 4 of them playing a board game together I just MELT and don’t care a bit about the mess in the kitchen. I always think about how this must be sort of how God feels when His children are getting along and loving each other the way He intended. :)
how creative kailee is! sounds like they have a lot of fun with her!
So cute! My kids and I have played the same game!!!
