Praying Wife Faith is the foundation of everything we believe. If we don’t have faith, how can we claim a relationship with God? For everything else we have discussed in this book, faith, to me, is the most important.

Darwinists must somehow explain the introduction of completely new genetic instructions (information) for feathers, life preserving secretions, highly specific and specifically complex symbiotic relationships, instinctual migration patterns, and other wonders that never existed in more ‘simple’ forms of life.

The truth is that we were all created in God’s image. We did not come about as a result of mathematically impossible chance and accident. Mutation is the current placeholder in the current secular humanist world view until a better naturalistic, materialistic explanation can be hypothesized. For now, it is the best they have, and it is extremely weak.

The logical claim is that less evolved “lower” life forms become more evolved “higher” life forms by means of the mechanisms of Neo-Darwinism — namely: mutation and natural selection.

In the final analysis, mutations don’t help Darwinian theory at all. There are three major limiting factors that preclude scientific extrapolation from mutational change to evolutionary change on a Darwinian scale.

Just as in the days before Darwin, thousands of scientists in recent times, and hundreds of thousands of laymen, have concluded that the Biblical framework is the more logical inference based on scientific evidence and observations.

One thing I hear all the time is that people’s lifestyles are so crazy and there isn’t time to spend with God. The thought of just fifteen minutes of devoted prayer time and a five minute “Sound Byte” devotional is overwhelming to many, not to speak of hours of devoted prayer time and hours of devoted Bible study. Yet, the average American adult spends 3-4 hours a day watching television.

During an airborne operation, my husband, Gregg, discovered that he was allergic to fire ants. He parachuted out of a plane and landed on a fire ant bed. He was bitten several times, resulting in his body producing massive amounts of histamines that started to send him into anaphylaxis. After taking a dose of Benadryl, we both still thought maybe he should go to the emergency room, just in case.

The first thing that attracted me to Gregg was his mind. Before we met in person, we had known each other online for two years as part of a writers’ group. This group was supposed to be about writing, but writers like to read what they write, so it was a prolific bunch. We discussed everything from writing to politics to religion. After 9-11, it really exploded with talking and writing, and it wasn’t unusual to get 400-500 emails a day. Gregg and I are very similarrily minded when it comes to religion and politics, so we “bonded” intellectually long before we met. However, that bonding never went beyond the discussions to anything personal simply because I was married. The first time we ever had a private conversation, I was already separated from my husband.
