Italian Ground Beef Skillet

Posted by Hallee on Nov 18, 2011 in entrees, Hallee's Galley, Italian, Recipes

This is a quick pasta sauce that every member of our family will love. The kale is a wonderful source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as omega 3 and omega 6. You can use any kind of pasta you want when making this dish. It takes very little time to make, and using grass-fed beef and organic vegetables it’s still barely $3 per person.

Cajun Style Beef Wrap

Posted by Hallee on Sep 1, 2011 in American Quisine, entrees, Hallee's Galley, Recipes, Snacks

I love this wrap, because using steak as a meat in it gives lunch a little facelift from the normal turkey or tuna. This is a great source of protein, which helps Kaylee get through her day since she eats lunch at 10:30 in the morning. It tastes fantastic, and is packed full of all sorts of good vitamins and minerals.

My Threesome Weekend: Me, Gregg, & George Foreman

Posted by Hallee on Jan 20, 2010 in Hallee's Galley, Holy matrimony, Love, Marriage, Romance

There was a lot more to our weekend, but I won’t go into it here (heh). It was beautiful, and wonderful, and I fell in love with my husband a million more times this weekend.

Crockpot Vegetable Beef Soup

Posted by Hallee on Jan 20, 2010 in Hallee's Galley, Recipes, Soups

During a recent romantic weekend with Gregg, we decided that we did not want to eat out. Our hotel had a kitchenette with no stove, so we took a crockpot with us and made a vegetable beef soup that we were able to eat for lunch all weekend. It was absolutely wonderful, and tasty, and went perfectly with the cheese platters that Gregg prepared.

This recipe is my “go to’ recipe for any time I grill steaks – whether it’s outside on a charcoal grill, inside on my cast iron grill pan, or on the George Forman.

Root Beer Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

Posted by Hallee on Dec 2, 2009 in American Quisine, entrees, Hallee's Galley, Recipes

We don’t eat pork, so this is the perfect substitute for a “pulled pork” sandwich. I use organic root beer, because it’s made with real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup.

Hearty Beef Stir Fry

Posted by Hallee on Nov 10, 2009 in entrees, Hallee's Galley, Oriental, Recipes

My family loves this dish. It’s so full of fresh vegetables and good vitamins. Serve it with white or brown rice and Chinese noodles. We even buy little boxes of fortune cookies to make dinner festive.

Heat-Free Chili

Posted by Hallee on Oct 22, 2009 in American Quisine, entrees, Hallee's Galley, Recipes, Soups

I make a heat-free chili that my children LOVE. They enjoy all of the flavors of chili, but have never enjoyed the heat.
