Gregg and I met through a writers’ group online. We knew each other for several years before we met in person. Though we had no romantic interest or intent in each other prior to our first in-person meeting, within a week we knew we would be married, within three months we were engaged, and we were married six months after our first meeting.
I made my Whole Wheat Pull Apart Yeast Rolls this morning for our Thanksgiving dinner. When I read through the recipe, I found two vary glaring errors that, if you didn’t know what to do, you wouldn’t know what to do about them. I don’t know what was going on with my brain or fingers when I typed it, unless it was just because during the Thanksgiving Extravaganza last year, I typed about 6 recipes in one day. Not a great excuse – but it’s all I have.

Pin ItLast Monday, Gregg and I finished our 40-day Daniel Fast. For 40 days, we ate nothing but whole food fruits, vegetables, and some whole grains. To drink, we only had water.
We have good friends who come to our weekly small group in our home every Sunday night, and we had joked about missing chocolate and coffee more than anything.
This is a quick pasta sauce that every member of our family will love. The kale is a wonderful source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as omega 3 and omega 6. You can use any kind of pasta you want when making this dish. It takes very little time to make, and using grass-fed beef and organic vegetables it’s still barely $3 per person.

This is a very-quick, easy to make meal – especially if you’re using leftover cornbread. I used grass-fed beef, and even with organic vegetables it’s still less than $4 per serving.
