Sapphire Ice has been nominated for the July Fiction book of the month at The Book Club Network.
This is what the person who nominated Sapphire Ice said:
I recently read Sapphire Ice by Hallee Bridgeman and I think it would be a great book for the July book of the month in fiction. I’ve often read books where a wealthy man falls for an unwealthy woman, but often they really didn’t seem plausible. However, I think Hallee did a great job with this theme in the book. The characters are very realistic and the more you read, the more you realize the depth of the characters when you begin to learn their backgrounds and how they came to be where they are today. There’s humor, romance, and also some excellent lessons the reader can learn about growing in a relationship with Christ and how that fits into everyday life. I liked this book so much, I was thrilled to learn that it was the first book in The Jewel Trilogy and I didn’t have to wait for the other two books to be published!! Read them ALL! They are all so good!
What an amazing nomination!
The original issue was never resolved; however, it did allow me to create a new project and now, FINALLY, A Melody for James is on Barnes and Noble!
You can get to it at this link: A Melody for James
Thank you for your patience with this!
Pin ItMelody and James lead separate lives of discord until an unexpected meeting brings them to a sinister realization. Unbeknownst to them, dark forces have directed their lives from the shadows, orchestrating movements that keep them in disharmony. Fire, loss, and bloodshed can’t shake their faith in God to see them through as they face a percussive climax that will leave lives forever changed.
A Melody for James officially publishes today! (And, since it published yesterday at Amazon, it is currently ranked #28 in Christian Suspense on Amazon!)
Pin ItThe day we return is the publication date for A Melody for James (stay tuned for purchase links!), and the garden will need some serious care after a week’s absence. Everything will get crazy busy again. For today, though, while I’m insanely trying to prepare my house for our house sitter, catch up on laundry so that I can pack, and seriously weed my garden so that nothing dies in our absence, I’m just imagining how wonderful it will be to kick back at the pool in our resort or sip coffee at Cafe Dumond.
The next post you get from me will be the announcement of the book sale!
Have a WONDERFUL week — and don’t forget to plan to spoil your husbands and dads for Father’s Day!
In celebration of the emerald being the traditional birthstone for the month of May, ebooks of Emerald Fire, Book 2 of the Jewel Trilogy, will be priced at 0.99!
