I worked in the construction industry for twelve years. For twelve years, I was surrounded, day in and day out, with men working in a man’s environment. The language that was peppered throughout my place of employment on a daily basis would make a sailor blush. It was such a part of my daily life that I didn’t even hear it. There was one man with whom I worked who could use a curse word five times in a sentence: as the noun, adjective, adverb, pronoun, and verb. It was nearly comical.

The price has been paid. The empty tomb is the proof of this truth. We have only but to embrace the truth, and we will experience a love that passes our ability to comprehend because that love for us is infinite and eternal. That love for us that comes from our immortal, eternal, infinite Creator.
Pin ItNow here we are at Easter again. The very basis for our faith, for our lives, is that Jesus Christ paid the payment for our sins by suffering and dying on the cross, was buried in a tomb and resurrected on the third day, then He ascended into Heaven and sits at Father God’s right hand. That is the core of everything we believe, the reason we live the way we live, and our message to the world.
I observe just how pervasive Darwinism has become in the Christian culture. So many Christian blogs host MEMES without even knowing the origin of the word or understanding the concept MEMEs represent, a concept that advocates materialism in opposition to the Biblical God.
Pin ItRight after my first wedding, my ex-husband and I visited his brother and one of my bridesmaids. They had recently moved to another town in Florida. They’d been living together for about eighteen months. I had weddings on my mind and asked her when they were getting married. She said, “Oh, we’re never getting married.”
Pin ItOne may think that a worldview can be intellectually set aside so that objective thought, analysis, and experimentation can occur, thus yielding valid, cogent, sound conclusions via the scientific process. Sadly, this is not the case. Darwinism corrupts the scientific process and inhibits logical thought.
Pin ItIt took me quite some time to decide what to write about for this chapter in Vicki Courtney’s 5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter, and the introduction to conversation number 4: It’s OK to Dream About Marriage and Motherhood! Chapter 14, “The Anti-Marriage Agenda” listed all sorts of statistics and social thoughts about marriage and the state of marriage today. They were interesting, but not overly surprising. Less people get married today than they did 40 years ago, and they’re getting married much later in life than they did 40 years ago. I think that is obvious and I don’t need to rehash it all.
Pin ItWhen almost no one was around, he asked me if he could speak to me. With the way he’d eaten, I thought he was going to ask for some food to take home, and I was already doing a mental inventory of what I could give him.
Instead, he asked me if I could read a passage from the Bible for him. He looked around but saw no Bibles sitting out and said, “That is, if you can find one.”
With hundreds of millions of years for constant mutations to build up and natural selection to occur, even the most ardent Darwinists should reasonably expect tremendous differences in the organism’s appearance by now.
