Real Photos
The Happy Housewife is challenging us to post ‘real family Christmas photos’ – outtake photos from trying to get “the perfect” family Christmas photo.
Both boys were in their Christmas sweaters for church and I wanted to take a picture of how cute they were to send to my husband, Gregg, in Afghanistan. The second I pulled out the camera, they started crying. Wailing. Rending of clothes and gnashing of teeth. It was so dramatic. The tears immediately dried up the second I threw my hands in the air and gave up.

NO! LOL – I never got a good one. It was awful (in a humorous awful way.)
They’re still really cute. I received the giveaway package today. Thanks so much. I love the cookie sheets. We had the old fashioned 1s (haha) & I love the spatulas & the sprinkles. I wrote a post on my blog & addded your site address in it.
It never fails- the camera gets pulled out and there will be tears over something.

haha! i bet gregg loves the pictures just the same. its like the one of avery picking his nose when i ask him to smile! luckily my little quinn automatically smiles when he sees the camera!
Love ’em! They remind me so much of my kids! They are darling, even when they are crying!
Seriously, I think my kids are related. Why is it whenever kids are wearing cute coordinated outfits, they much cry uncontrollably when they see a camera! Thanks for linking up!

I remember how hard it was to get two little ones to actually look at the camera and seem to be happy. I feel for you.
But the last one. Oh.my. The oldest looks like he’s praying and the younger one…speaking in tongues?? Cute.
