Facelift & Giveaway!
We decided it was time to update the Hallee the Homemaker theme. I’ve had the old theme for over four years now, and in the world of technology, that’s a LONG time.
Gregg has worked tirelessly to implement something that is secure but still carried a taste of the old theme.
To celebrate, we’ll do a giveaway. Comment on this post. Tell me something about this blog, if you’re looking forward to something specific from in the coming year, whether you like new look, what you’ve liked in the past, etc. Anything at all. One random commenter will receive her choice of any ebook of mine, fiction or cookbook. Comments will close at 5PM EST on Saturday, January 11, 2014.

I’m looking forward for to see more great recipes
Saying I’ve enjoyed this blog and your writing immensely is the understatement of the year! Just keep doing what you do and being you! ♥[
I enjoy reading about your activities and look forward to more cookbooks and fiction.
I’m looking forward to your weekly menus again. I’d also love an easier way to look up your fab recipes!
(oops, I have all your ebooks; don’t put me in the drawing unless it can be for a future book.)
I like the new look. It will definitely take a little getting use to navigating though! Good work Gregg.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog and I look forward to reading more of it this new year. My favorite post is the “If You Give a Pig a Pancake”—-so enlightening. It has changed our views on pork for sure! Thanks for your honesty and integrity! God bless you!
I just have to say that I have fallen in love with the books I have of yours! I am hooked on them! I am passing them around so that others can be blessed by your talented writing :-) Keep up the good work, and keep creating great masterpieces for God’s glory!
Hallie – I really enjoy your tough, honest but hard discussions about current issues saturated in worldly values and your perspective using Scripture. It challenges me to look at my actions in the world and make sure that I am living in Christ and staying separated from worldly ideas. I would love to see more of this as well as more of Gregg’s posts…maybe something for both of you to consider along the lines of “hard questions/comments the world asks/states” vs. God’s perspective.” For example, “God just wants us to be happy” or “God must have created more people than just Adam and Eve because Cain had a wife,” etc. …Not sure if I this all makes sense?
On a separate note, I also really enjoy your recipes, so if I am selected I would love one of your cooking e-books. I am excited that your romance novels are doing well and I think it is so important that you continue to maintain strong Godly values in your writing as you have stated on your blog. However, I don’t not read much fiction and have not read your romance books so I am speaking without personal knowledge. God’s blessings upon you and your family!!!
couple of typo’s in my post, please excuse them – especially the double negative which should have read “I do not read much fiction…”. :)
This is my first visit to your website. I’m technologically impaired, so all the options on your page are a little intimidating. But I’m a determined learner and will work to understand the options. Your website is friendly and impressive as is your writing. :)
I just love your CAN DO attitude. You seem like someone who is not afraid to “Pick yourself up, Dust yourself off, and Start all over Again.” That and your faith journey matters to me.
Your recipes are what I enjoy most. I need to get your cookbooks.
Love to win! Congratulations, the blog looks great.
Love the new look. I can’t wait for your new books!!!
