30 Days of Thankfulness Day 20
I often post a list of all the things for which I’m thankful on Thanksgiving. But, in an effort to get back into the habit of daily blogging, I’ve decided to do a post a day for the month of November.
20. Prayer
I posted a Facebook and Twitter status yesterday and asked, “How can I pray for you today?”
It is amazing the responses I got, publicly and privately. I was blessed all day long with the ability and freedom to pray for my friends and their friends. My asking and people responding blessed others as well, and they were open in sharing how much they appreciated it.
To have an open line to talk to God and know that He hears me and He answers me is unfathomable to my little human brain.
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. ~Psalm 4:1
I am thankful for prayer and the ability to pray and the knowledge that I have people praying for me.
