30 Days of Thankfulness Day 18

I often post a list of all the things for which I’m thankful on Thanksgiving. But, in an effort to get back into the habit of daily blogging, I’ve decided to do a post a day for the month of November.

18. Our Church

I love our church.  When we walked in the doors of that building, we knew we belonged there.  After we’d been there for about a year, I said something in a class one time about it, and a friend there said, “You’ve been going here longer than a year, haven’t you?” It feels like we’ve always been there.

Kaylee is immersed in the youth group and a leader on the state youth council.  Our boys think of church as a second home.  We have developed strong, meaningful friendships that we will carry with us our entire lives.  And, we love our pastor and the message he delivers from God weekly.

I’m so thankful that God brought us to this congregation for worship.
