Back when we did our first giveaway, we had few enough entries that we printed out the names, cut them out, and Kaylee drew a name from a hat. We had TOO many entries this time! So we used Random.org.
I love this blog. I love that the one-year-anniversary-giveaway has over 600 comments. I love that there is a steady number of you who have been with me from the very first post and who still read me every day. I love that people do searches for “Hallee the Homemaker” because someone has told them about this site. I love that God has allowed me this opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, to do Bible studies, to have debates and disagreements, to have conversations, to share recipes and stories from life, to pray for each other.
These blogs are visually pleasing, carefully assembled, and easy to navigate. They aren’t cluttered, they don’t immediately start playing annoying music the minute the page loads, and they are soft on the eyes. They are LOVELY blogs which a wonderful reflections of the folks who keep them lovely for us readers.
For those of you who read me who are not in the “blogging world”, this weekend is a huge blogging conference called Blissdom. Some of us couldn’t go because an ocean separates them from Nashville, some of us chose not to go because our husbands went back to Afghanistan last weekend and we thought the stress of Mommy going away for a whole weekend would be too much for our toddlers, and some of us just couldn’t go.
