During an airborne operation, my husband, Gregg, discovered that he was allergic to fire ants. He parachuted out of a plane and landed on a fire ant bed. He was bitten several times, resulting in his body producing massive amounts of histamines that started to send him into anaphylaxis. After taking a dose of Benadryl, we both still thought maybe he should go to the emergency room, just in case.

This dish took no time to put together. I used tilapia, because that’s what I had on hand, but just about any white fish will do. The kids loved it, and they loved helping me make it.

Different things can affect my blood pressure. Some years ago, we found a recent research study that showed drinking just 8 ounces of pomegranate juice a day will reduce high blood pressure significantly. Since then, I have added a shot of pomegranate juice to my smoothies.

A few minutes later, I walked into the kitchen and she was shoving 2 mini muffins into her mouth while talking on a 3-way call with a couple of friends. She saw me and swallowed and said, “I love them with butter. Wow. These are so good!”
