I am so excited to be one of the newest members of the Seeds of Faith team! I will be contributing regularly under the label “Writing Worth Reading.” I decided to serialize 5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter as my first project there. My first post will appear Sunday, July 11th, and will be on chapter 1.

It dawned on me about 2PM today that my week is spiraling out of control.
These blogs inspire, amuse, fascinate, or challenge. These blogs are as real as their keepers. A few are eclectic and a few are very specific about their mission. Whatever the case, these are Blogs I (Heart).
The “taglines” up there at the top under the title of the blog change each time you switch pages or refresh your browser. I’m just wondering how many of you hit refresh just now. :-)
These blogs are visually pleasing, carefully assembled, and easy to navigate. They aren’t cluttered, they don’t immediately start playing annoying music the minute the page loads, and they are soft on the eyes. They are LOVELY blogs which a wonderful reflections of the folks who keep them lovely for us readers.
These blogs inspire others to achieve greater things. Some inspire me to worship, or study, or be more self-disciplined. Some inspire my creative side. Some lend me inspiration for my own blogging endeavors.
I had the opportunity to visit and read a whole fresh new (to me) collection of blogs. I decided that I will award several blogs which I found especially noteworthy from the 2010 Ultimate Blog Party as well as the Blissdom Blizzard Bloghop.
I am very pleased, honored, and excited to accept this, my sixth blog award. I have to thank my husband, my children, and all my friends for keeping the great ideas coming and for keeping me fresh and on my toes. But mostly, I have to thank God for His hand on my every day life. He is on the throne and in control and through Him all things are possible and to Him all glory and all honor is due.
Here are seven easy steps to creating your own blog button in Wordpress. Hopefully, you will find this helpful.
I couldn’t figure out where to even begin to create a button I wanted, so Gregg made several and emailed them to me. One really stood out, but needed a little more sprucing up. Between the two of us, we finally nailed it. I’m so pleased with the final result.
