I am honored to be participating in a Real Food Face-Off hosted by Katie at kitchenstewardship.com. My turn hasn’t come up in the rotation yet, but there have been some fantastic bloggers participating so far.
For several weeks, Gregg has been insisting that while he’s home, I’m to take a day away. Away from the boys. Away from the house. Away from him. I’m to go somewhere alone, with my Bible, with a notepad, and just spend the day with God.
Earlier this year, a college student at our church went on a missions trip to Haiti through Mission Support International. She absolutely fell in love with the country and with the people she met there. As such, she felt personally affected and deeply moved by the earthquakes in Haiti, and was convicted to DO something to help these people she loved so much. She designed a t-shirt, found a company that would discount the t-shirts and print them for her, and is selling them for $10 – $5 for her cost for the shirt, and $5 will go to Mission Support International who will then disperse the money throughout Haiti. To be clear, 100% of the profits go directly to MSI for earthquake relief efforts.
Vast amounts of time don’t prove Darwinism, but if the earth is quite young, that directly refutes Darwinism. This post continues to present facts about the age of the earth looking at evidence from our atmosphere and from our globe itself.

I documented evidence from comets, meteors and meteorites, our fellow planets in our solar system, and our sun. All of the empirical evidence suggests that the earth cannot be billions or even millions of years old. There are an astonishing number of factual evidences that our world is quite young.

I meet with friends semi-annually at the nearby outlets to share a meal, quickly catch up on our lives, and give our children a chance to play together. We look forward to this so much. It is not just about the outlet deals, but the camaraderie and fun associated with the trip.
