Because I have two children who were born preemies, I know full well how far medical advances have come in the area of NICU and PICU.  I get emails from the March of Dimes, and this fundraising drive caught my eye.  I am copying this directly from the March of Dimes website:

Terrific news! The March of Dimes national Board of Trustees announced that they will match every dollar donated to the March of Dimes now through December 31, 2011.

That means any gift you make right now will be matched dollar for dollar. For example, your gift of $25 will be matched with $25 — making your gift worth a total of $50! And a gift of $50 will be worth $100.

If we’re able to take full advantage of this opportunity, $100,000* can be invested in research and programs to help moms and babies.
