My family calls these travel sandwiches because when we go on a trip, we always have some in our cooler. Whenever we stop for lunch, we just cut chunks of sandwich off and pass them out. They are beyond delicious, incredibly good for you, and better the longer they sit.

A favorite to any pot luck. I don’t think a church dinner would be complete without chilled green bean and red potato salad.

I much prefer making my mayonnaise fresh at home. Obviously, it saves money, but the main advantage is in the taste. Home made is not loaded with chemicals and preservatives.
