Hope for Haiti
Earlier this year, a college student at our church went on a missions trip to Haiti through Mission Support International. She absolutely fell in love with the country and with the people she met there. As such, she felt personally affected and deeply moved by the earthquakes in Haiti, and was convicted to DO something to help these people she loved so much. She designed a t-shirt, found a company that would discount the t-shirts and print them for her, and is selling them for $10 – $5 for her cost for the shirt, and $5 will go to Mission Support International who will then disperse the money throughout Haiti. To be clear, 100% of the profits go directly to MSI for earthquake relief efforts.

Guest Post: Couponning 101′s Heather on Money Saving Grocery Shopping
Hi, My name is Heather and I’m a super coupon junkie. I have a really hard time paying full price for anything and beyond that, I’m in it for the rush! There’s a thrill to stand at the checkout and watch the total $$ go down as the total savings goes up… I’m a huge fan of couponning and making every sale work for me, so much that I actually blog about it at http://couponning101.blogspot.com
Being a guest blogger on Hallee’s site is kinda like going to my first AA meeting – I’m sharing my addiction with you… but unlike AA, this addiction can save you tons of money a year on your groceries no matter where you live in the USA
Guest Post: Money Saving Meg on Outlet Shopping
I meet with friends semi-annually at the nearby outlets to share a meal, quickly catch up on our lives, and give our children a chance to play together. We look forward to this so much. It is not just about the outlet deals, but the camaraderie and fun associated with the trip.
The Ternary Plan
Limiting was HARD. I was all done in a day, then the next day saw something else, and the next day Gregg wanted to order something online, and the next day I thought of another great gift idea…but because we had committed to each other that it would only be three presents, from here on out, we kept ourselves from going overboard.
Pondering Pennies Past & Present
A friend’s blog post from this week inspired me to write this today. She blogged about taking over their family’s finances and looking forward to the coming year and seeing what she can do about emergency funds and vacation funds and such.
Easy Christmas Wreath
I priced Christmas wreaths sometime before Thanksgiving and was just appalled at what they’re getting for these things. I was at Garden Ridge, so I looked at a $49 wreath and made one as nearly identical to it as I could.
Operation Christmas Child
Monday will begin the collection week for this year’s Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.
Money-Saving Meg Frames Frugal Friday Message
My friend Meg is guest posting today. Meg and I are very similar. We are both homemakers, we are both mothers of 3, we both value and desire a closer relationship with God. Today, I hand my blog reins over to Meg, who will tell you how she does what she does with the budget she does it with, and I will allow you to be as impressed with her as I am. Enjoy Frugal Friday.
