I’ve been thinking more about this lately, too, and trying to figure out *when* we’re supposed to recharge and give ourselves a break. Personally, I’m renewing my commitment to not work on Sundays (no online work), this is NOT easy for me because like you, there’s always so much to be done! I’m curious if you allow yourself to chill out on that day, or how you unwind?
I don’t turn my computer on on Sundays. There are rare exceptions, but for the most part, it’s a computer free day. We watch movies together as a family after church on Sundays – always with a Bible story or Christian theme on that day. That is when I unwind. I also have regular date nights with Gregg. We both get recharged that way. But, Monday-Saturday — it’s go go go. I don’t see a way for it to be otherwise right now in my season of life.
Hallee, I can learn so many lessons from you. This is a great post and timely for me. I don’t function well with disorganization and I’ve been semi-functioning like that for waaaay too long! GREAT post. Thank you.
